That's it. It's over. I've just popped the last piece of candy corn from my 2008 Halloween stash in my mouth. As its sugary sweetness melts away and spikes my blood sugar, I realize that it will be at least 10 more months before I will be able to enjoy my favorite confection again. If it were available year round, I would need a 12-step program to break my addiction.
That's one of the few candies that does not tempt me whatsoever. We had a bowl sitting by the kitchen and I didn't touch a single corn! Now, if it had been Snickers...or Sweet Tarts....
ReplyDeleteHooray and congratulations! I am not sure how I found myself on your blog this morning, but I am so glad that I did. Your girls are just beautiful. I love their names.
ReplyDeleteA Peach out of Water...very creative. I have always fantasized about living in the south and all that a southern lifestyle entails. I must ask...is it all true? Is life in the South just as pictureque and wonderfully slow paced as I imagine it to be?
