Thankful.

I am so very thankful for these people, big and little, in my life. They define me. They complete me. They are the best part of my day and night. Thank you for every day that I get to have them in my life.

It's all in the groove...

Veterans Day totally funked with my mojo this week.  When my own Veteran is home during the middle of the week and the kids are out of school, it totally messes with my system.  Why can't we celebrate Veterans Day on a Monday like all the rest of the holidays??  My girlfriends were at the playground with their children enjoying the beautiful day and I was home doing "projects".

Yes, my husband has an agenda.  We had planned a nice relaxing Thanksgiving Holiday with our dear friends from Roseville (who were our neighbors in Atlanta 8 years ago) and their two children.  My husband, feeling very thankful decided to invite a co-worker who is moving to the area next week and his wife and their four children and his mother-in-law.  I love a big Thanksgiving.  I have no issue with the extra mouths.  I take issue with all the "projects" he wants to complete before the holiday arrives.  I liken it to rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.  I very much doubt anyone will notice all of his completed "projects" on Thanksgiving.
