The Not-So-Lucky Lucky Pickle
This "lucky pickle" ornament has hung on our Christmas tree every Christmas for 15 years. Yesterday, the pickle and I parted ways. Hubby reminded me that 2008 wasn't that lucky of a year for us (not a bad year mind you, but not a particularly lucky one), and we might as well get a new pickle. I think he's right. New pickles for everyone!

I want to know...what event caused the demise of said pickle? Was it pickle-ficed? (I think I will be all about the bad humor in 2009!)
LOVED Ansley's new bag. Before you know it, you will have to replace its hot pink loveliness with Prada or Gucci!

Actually, the pickle committed pickle-cide from the highest most branch of the tree.
I thought for sure one of your kids committed pickle-cide. I am just thinking about my own wild children... Funny how I have had things in good shape for 30 years and one of my boys can kill it in 2 hours. Sorry about your pickle.
Here is to even bigger and better pickles for you in 2009.
