I think my accent has lessened over the years, but my hubby says it gets worse when I go home for an extended stay in the summer. Every now and again I'm reminded that it's still there. I was volunteering in Barrett's classroom this week helping the kids paint a Christmas project. One of the Hispanic children asked me, "Mrs. Bruce, what country are you from?"
Yup, it's still there. Thanks for asking.
