You Can Take the Girl Out of Georgia...
I think my accent has lessened over the years, but my hubby says it gets worse when I go home for an extended stay in the summer. Every now and again I'm reminded that it's still there. I was volunteering in Barrett's classroom this week helping the kids paint a Christmas project. One of the Hispanic children asked me, "Mrs. Bruce, what country are you from?"

How totally funny! Did you say that you are from the country of Georgia? Or did you go with someplace more exotic in say Europe?
