We took the kids into Chinatown yesterday to soak in some local culture at the Chinese New Year festival. It was a very enlightening experience. We enjoyed a hectic, although delicious lunch followed by a stroll through a bustling Chinatown.
We conquered a few hills.
We did a little window shopping.
We listened to some drum music from an Asian street band.
We ate a little cotton candy.
We spent some time in a caterpillar jumpy house. Upon completion of jumping, the participants were excreted through the rear of the caterpillar. It was very disturbing.
We even got a glimpse America's biggest export to China. Yep, Ronald McDonald.
And on the way home we got to see this guy. He never ceases to take my breath away.
