Last night, Barrett poked her head out and said "I need to go bathroom." Next we hear Clayton, "I need to go bathroom." We were trying to watch a movie so hubby got up to check on him. All of a sudden, there's a great commotion. "OH NO! What happened, Buddy??" Hubby rushes in carrying Clayton and informs me that Clayton's hand was bleeding. Clayton informs us that it is a paper cut (our friend Maggie received a paper cut today from her birthday card).
Hubby is freaking out a bit. "There's a lot of blood," he informs me. I say, "Clayton, come over here and let mommy see." I have no medical degree, but it was pretty easy for me to determine that it wasn't blood, but strawberry J-E-L-L-O. Crisis averted. However, Clayton did need a band-aid for his Jello injury before he would settle down and go back to bed.
Where did said Jello come from? Now, there's the mystery.

Maybe he was keeping a little stockpile somewhere? Just in case he needed a 2am snack?
Oh man, Dear Daughter's little brother also suffers from all the same ailments, excuses, etc. I hope one day she exclaims, "I want to go to Medical school!"
Very funny! I bet Clayton loved that little bit of drama before bed, especially since he wasn't actually hurt. At least the kids just poke their heads out and announce their needs, my daughter just comes marching right out, while demanding her said 'need' be met!
It's good to hear my children have such a "positive" influence on yours!
