Tribute Tuesday: Guilty Pleasure.

I'm participating in Mayhem & Moxie's Tribute Tuesday about Guilty Pleasures. Initially, I thought I would write about my addiction to the Real Housewives series on Bravo [Hello? Tap. Tap. So Obvious.], only to realize that was the topic of Mayhem & Moxie's own guilty pleasure.

In order to stretch my creativity and get my brain cells working, I thought for another two or three seconds and realized one guilty pleasure that I cannot live without, at least from September until the end of October of every year. [I even blogged about it last year.]

I know, I know. It's one of those divisive issues like cats or universal health care. You either "ARE" a candy corn person or "ARE NOT" a candy corn person. I'm fully aware that there are haters out there. To top it off, I'm a candy corn snob. It has to be Brach's or nothing at all.

This year I tried a very hard and fast approach to my autumnal guilty pleasure. I attempted to limit myself to four bags during the season. As of today, I failed. I purchased two more bags today at Target. As it gets closer to Halloween, and the candy corn supplies on the store shelves start to dwindle, will I be able to resist? Probably not.

Head on over to Mayhem & Moxie and tell them about your guilty pleasure!

Hi peaches! I saw your comment over at moxie and I had to come over and tell you that I was just totally and completely addicted too! I simply can not get enough of them! The bigger the trainwreck the better! I don't love candy corn but I will eat it if it is the only sugar available!

Sorry, friend, but I am definitely NOT a candy corn person. Blech.

BUT, I'm the only one in the family who isn't. So, for them, I bought the candy corn Hershey kisses. Have you tried them? The boys loved them. (Shocker.)

Umm, maybe I should fess up that I already know your boys like candy corn. How do I know? It fuels the carpool.
